Hi! I’m Amari Buchanan, A Senior at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in the Theatre Department. My dream is to become a professional Stage and Film Actress! I am planning on applying to college in order to further my education in Theatre & study Sociology as well! The March for the Arts Fundraiser is made to support young artists in the Theatre Department like myself. This fundraiser will help me pay art fees, expose me to several opportunities & experiences, & allow me to go on the annual New York trip to see amazing plays and meet wonderful individuals in the industry! Please help support the Arts and I by donating and sharing to friends & family! I love you all! Thank you for being a great contributor!

March for the Arts, formerly the Walk of Fame, is the

Duke Ellington School of the Arts annual Theatre

Fundraiser.

CELEBRATE WITH US ON OCTOBER 26 AT OUR ANNUAL

MARCH FOR THE ARTS FESTIVAL

ALL ARE WELCOME!

Georgetown’s history of mystery doesn’t deter counselors from setting up Camp Ellington at the historic Duke Ellington School of the Arts campus. All of the superstitious locals warn against it, but the young counselors pay little heed to the old timers. Campers try to enjoy activities like moon bounces, sack races, camp stories, delicious food and costume contests*, but mysteriously they keep disappearing. “Who will survive and what will be left of them?”

Come join the fun and help solve the mystery at Camp Ellington on Saturday, October 26th from 10-1pm. Guests will participate in an arts festival and March through Georgetown with performances and events from classic horror films. “Be afraid. Be very afraid.” Fun for the whole family! We’re celebrating and “evil loves to party!”

*Come dressed in costume to enter our costume contest! Extra points given to entries dressed as their favorite horror film character.
