Hi my name is Leela Eversmann. The arts are, and always have been, such a major part of my life. Currently I am attending Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Ellington takes in young artists and, over the course of their four years, develops and strengthens their artist skills. Although I am passionate about so many things, theatre is one of the most important parts of my life as it drives a majority of the things I do. It would mean so much to me if you could donate to us! Funding grants us the ability to put on shows, travel, and overall keep our program running. Please help me reach my goal of $1,500! Thank you.
TO SUPPORT YOUNG THEATRE ARTISTS ON THE MOVE
CELEBRATE WITH US ON OCTOBER 26 AT OUR ANNUAL
MARCH FOR THE ARTS FESTIVAL
ALL ARE WELCOME!
Georgetown’s history of mystery doesn’t deter counselors from setting up Camp Ellington at the historic Duke Ellington School of the Arts campus. All of the superstitious locals warn against it, but the young counselors pay little heed to the old timers. Campers try to enjoy activities like moon bounces, sack races, camp stories, delicious food and costume contests*, but mysteriously they keep disappearing. “Who will survive and what will be left of them?”
Come join the fun and help solve the mystery at Camp Ellington on Saturday, October 26th from 10-1pm. Guests will participate in an arts festival and March through Georgetown with performances and events from classic horror films. “Be afraid. Be very afraid.” Fun for the whole family! We’re celebrating and “evil loves to party!”
*Come dressed in costume to enter our costume contest! Extra points given to entries dressed as their favorite horror film character.
