As a freshman in the theater department, in my short time, this experience has been amazing! We need your help fundraising for our department, so that more amazing things are able to happen here.
All donations are going to the theater department for things like products, textbooks, costumes, and our overnight trip to New York! In order to make this trip happen the whole department must raise at least $60,000! The coolest part is that the person who raises the most money will get an amazing prize at the end (at the moment we’re not sure what it will be yet). For example last year that person got to go to the set of Greenleaf! Thank you for supporting us and being amazing!
TO SUPPORT YOUNG THEATRE ARTISTS ON THE MOVE
CELEBRATE WITH US ON OCTOBER 26 AT OUR ANNUAL
MARCH FOR THE ARTS FESTIVAL
ALL ARE WELCOME!
Georgetown’s history of mystery doesn’t deter counselors from setting up Camp Ellington at the historic Duke Ellington School of the Arts campus. All of the superstitious locals warn against it, but the young counselors pay little heed to the old timers. Campers try to enjoy activities like moon bounces, sack races, camp stories, delicious food and costume contests*, but mysteriously they keep disappearing. “Who will survive and what will be left of them?”
Come join the fun and help solve the mystery at Camp Ellington on Saturday, October 26th from 10-1pm. Guests will participate in an arts festival and March through Georgetown with performances and events from classic horror films. “Be afraid. Be very afraid.” Fun for the whole family! We’re celebrating and “evil loves to party!”
*Come dressed in costume to enter our costume contest! Extra points given to entries dressed as their favorite horror film character.
